Virgil Jordan has been in the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry for over 35 years. He has worked as a Serviceman, Foreman, Shop Manager, Production Manager, Salesman, Sales Engineer, Regional Sales Manager, Manufacturer’s Representative, owner of Jordan Pressure Vessels, Vessel Manager of Frick, and is currently the President of RVS, a subsidiary of EVAPCO.
Manager - Sales and Engineering
Steve Bradley started his professional career with EVAPCO, Inc. in 1989. He has been a Manufacturing / Plant Engineer, Production Foreman, Assistant Product Manager, and Product Manager for Industrial Evaporators. In 2002, he ventured to start and manage his own company in automotive reconditioning services. After nine years, he returned to EVAPCO as a Regional Sales Manager and then Senior Regional Sales Manager for Industrial Refrigeration Products. Steve joined RVS at the beginning of 2016 as his experience has well equipped him to lead our Sales and Engineering Department.
Mike started his career as a fabricator building simulation devices for the U.S. military. He has experience with fabrication, drafting, design, and project management. Mike joined EVAPCO in 1995, as an Assistant Plant Engineer, and moved to Texas in 1998, assuming the positions of Materials Manager and then Plant Manager at RVS. Mike left the company in 2006 for the Natural Gas Industry, but returned to RVS as the Materials Manager in early 2016.
Candace Hernandez is a Texas A&M graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering. As an undergraduate, her research focused on unmanned aerial vehicles which deepened her knowledge in materials, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and fabrication. As a member of RVS, Candace serves as a main contact for all sales and engineering inquiries. Her experience and understanding of production application comes first-hand as she has managed customer priorities on and off the shop floor.
Sales & Marketing
Ky Bentley-Parker has been with RVS since 2011. She has over 25 years of Sales & Marketing experience which has given her a keen awareness of business relationships both inside and outside of RVS. She assists in all aspects of sales, research, and the resolution of client issues. She also manages the RVS order entry department.
Ky attended Texas A&M with a Major in Sociology/Marketing Research. She believes that it is by the improved well-being and success of our clients that an organization measures its own achievement and success. She is truly committed to your success!
Kyle is a graduate from Texas A&M University at Galveston, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Maritime Administration and a Master’s Degree in Logistics. While obtaining his Associate degree in Business, Kyle worked part-time for RVS in our pre-fabrication, detail, and maintenance departments. Also, while pursuing his Bachelor and Master degrees, Kyle worked in Non-Destructive Testing as he spent three years performing x-ray of vessels, pipelines, and natural gas treatment plants. As the newest member of our Sales team, he is dedicated to giving customers exactly what they want, when they want it.
Customer Solutions Associate
Jeni has been a proud employee since 2013, and has quickly adapted to her role as a Customer Solutions Associate. She deals with day to day sales operations including entering all documentation into the RVS database. She received hands on training at RVS in multiple computer formats, and has exceptional customer service skills.
Keith Butler is one of the original RVS employees. He started in 1984 as a vessel fabricator then progressed to shop leader, plant superintendent, and then to his present job as Service Manager. Other current responsibilities are parts sales, scheduling field alterations and repairs, facility start-up assistance, electrical wiring and controls, and equipment warranty.
Edward James Reyna has been with Refrigeration Valves and Systems for over 13 years. Edward started in the testing department and is currently the service technician for RVS. He has made great strides with his ability to adapt to the many changes that RVS has gone through and is now one of the faces most of our customers see out in the field.
As a service technician, Edward Reyna assists service manager, Keith Butler, in resolving technical issues at RVS as well as with our customers in the field. Edward has been very instrumental in putting together vessel repair and vessel alteration field work. He has performed multiple alterations on a variety of vessels for RVS customers as he is a certified ASME welder. He continues to show a positive attitude towards his job and QUALITY is definitely at the top of his list when it comes to getting the job done.
Manager - Manufacturing Engineering
Chris Smith started with RVS in 2017 as Manager Manufacturing Engineering. He has over 26 years of Manufacturing and R&D experience obtained through the roles of Mold Designer, Environmental Engineer, Process Engineer, Lab Manager and Production Manager working with NASA, Remington Arms, Libbey Glass, Directed Energy Systems, Diamond Wire Technology, and Rechargeable Battery Corporation. He has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Texas A&M University and a Master of Science in Electronics and Instrumentation from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
Michael "Chili" Ruiz
Michael “Chili” Ruiz is the Production Manager at RVS responsible for all production activities. Chili started his career with RVS in 1996 managing the hydrostatic testing & shipping department. He worked in other shop positions to learn more about the aspects of production including scheduling, managing employees and quality testing. Chili served as Traffic Manager responsible for coordinating shipments to and from RVS to ensure on-time delivery.
Chili’s an avid Texas A&M University fan. If it’s a home game, Chili will be tailgating and rooting the Ags to victory.
Human Resource/Accounting Manager
Dona joined the RVS family in 2014. She has over 20 years of accounting and personnel management experience from various industries, including Healthcare, Construction, Automotive, and Oil and Gas. Combining her business experience with her creative and organizational style, she has quickly streamlined the Accounts Payable and Payroll functions. After being with RVS for just two years, her duties have been expanded to include the Human Resource function. Dona now oversees all aspects of Accounting and Human Resources. She has a positive and professional style and will respond to your inquiry both promptly and pleasantly.
Human Resource/Accounting Assistant
Kayla is a graduate of Sam Houston State University, class of 2014. She has assumed the role of Human Resources/Accounting Assistant and has been with RVS since 2015. She handles the day to day operations of the office to keep things running smoothly. Kayla is dedicated to her job here at RVS and is looking forward to a great future.
